Rental rates
Rental rates include:
- unlimited mileage,
- liability and casco insurances against breakage and robbery (CDR&TP)
- and free use of Hungarian highways (with an electronic permission).
Fuel costs, non-reimbursable deductible, airport surcharge (13%), service costs due to unproper use and licence and fees (500 HUF/day, less than 1.600 cm3 max. 8.750 HUF, more than 1.600 cm3 18.750 HUF - VAT included) are not included.
Extra accessories
Reduced excess
The non-reimbursable excess is 10%, but minimum 50.000 HUF/damage, which can be reduced to 0 HUF for 2.500 HUF/day (VAT included) - insurance packages with reduced excess (Super CDR and Super CDR Plus).
Conditions
The driver and second driver must be named in the contract, and must agree the "General renting conditions". Second driver permission (max. 2) is 750 HUF/day, max. 5.250 HUF/month.
Reservations are confirmed for category, specific type of car can't be guaranteed.
Weekend rental rates are valid from 12:00 Friday to 9:00 Monday.
Any vehicle can be hired with a professional chauffeur with a surcharge of 15.000 HUF/8 hours (VAT included). Every extra hour started is charged at 1.900 HUF (VAT included).
One-way rental
Rented car may be returned to any Europcar offices in the country free of charge.
Delivery and collection
Delivery can be provided on-demand within the city for 2.500 HUF (VAT included). In any other case we'll charge 125 HUF/km (VAT included), but minimum 2.500 HUF for delivering the car back. In case of rentals for 1 week or more every category are available at stations in the countryside too. Rentals for shorter than 1 week delivery/collection fee will be charged.
Caution
At the beginning of the rental caution must be paid by credit card, which is different at all categories. For further information please contact the Europcar station.
Fuel information
Rented car is delivered with full tank of petrol, and at the end of the rental it should be returned as it was. Europcar shall charge the price of the missing fuel, and the fee of the mileage performed with the purposes of refuelling. Refuelling charge may exceed the officially published fuel prices at the time of rental.
Conditions of cancelling
In case of renting categories H, I, M and Y any cancellation of the order after 48 hours is free of charge, between 24 and 48 hours the vehicle's daily fee for 1 day shall be paid, while in case of cancellation within 24 hours the whole vehicle rental fee shall be paid.
Departure for abroad
Vehicle is forbidden to take into the following countries: Bulgaria, Turkey, Greece, Albania, succession states of Yugoslavia (except Croatia and Slovenia) and former Soviet Union (except Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania).
Border crossing permit is required for rentals shorter than 1 week 6.250 HUF (VAT included), for 1 week or more it is free of charge. Vehicle in certain categories is not allowed to being taken abroad.
