Rental informations

Rental rates include:

- 3.000 km*

- liability and casco insurances against breakage and robbery (CDR&TP)

- and free use of Hungarian highways (with an electronic permission).

Fuel costs, non-reimbursable deductible, airport surcharge (15%), service costs due to unproper use and licence and fees (A, X, B, J, K, C, L, E categories HUF 1.600 + VAT/day, max. HUF 17.600 + VAT/month, Z, F, W categories max. HUF 22.000 + VAT/month, G, H, I, Y categories HUF 3.000 + VAT/day, max. HUF 44.000 + VAT/month) are not included.

Reduced excess

The non-reimbursable excess is 10%, but minimum 50.000 HUF/damage.

Conditions

The driver and second driver must be named in the contract, and must agree the "General renting conditions". Second driver permission is 1.500 HUF/day, max. 21.000 HUF/month + VAT.

Reservations are confirmed for category, specific type of car can't be guaranteed.

Any vehicle can be hired with a professional chauffeur with a surcharge of 48.000 HUF/8 hours (VAT included). Every extra hour started is charged at 6.000 HUF (VAT included).

One-way rental

Rented car may be returned in case of an 3 days rental to any Europcar offices in the country free of charge.

Delivery and collection

Delivery can be provided on-demand within the city for 5.000 HUF + VAT. In any other case we'll charge 150 HUF/km + VAT, but minimum 10.000 HUF for delivering the car back. In case of rentals for 1 week or more every category are available at stations in the countryside too. Rentals for shorter than 1 week delivery/collection fee will be charged.

Caution

At the beginning of the rental caution must be paid by credit card, which is different at all categories, but in Hungary it's the total rental cost + 20% + 320 000 HUF. For further information please contact the Europcar station. Credit cards must be valid for the whole duration of the rental plus at least 2 months. At the end of the rental, the caution will be paid back between 10 and 30 days. In case of renting an Audi A6 or A8 the customer needs to show 2 credit cards and the caution will be the total rental cost + 20%+320.000 HUF on each credit card.

Fuel information

Rented car is delivered with full tank of petrol, and at the end of the rental it should be returned as it was. Europcar shall charge the price of the missing fuel, and the fee of the mileage performed with the purposes of refuelling. Refuelling charge may exceed the officially published fuel prices at the time of rental.

Conditions of cancelling

In case of categories L,F,W,G,H,I,M,S,T cancellation is free of charge up to 48 hours before the start of the rental day. For cancellations between 24 and 48 hours, one day rental is payable as cancellation fee. In case of cancellation within 24 hours, the full rental fee must be paid. In other categories withing 24 hours the cancellation fee is 10.000 HUF + VAT. This amount will be charged either in local currency or in your card billing currency, where applicable and at the exchange rate conditions valid at time of transaction.

Departure for abroad

Vehicle is forbidden to take into the following countries: Bulgaria, Turkey, Greece, Albania, succession states of Yugoslavia (except Croatia and Slovenia) and former Soviet Union (except Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania).

Border crossing permit is required for rentals shorter than 1 week 15.000 HUF +VAT, for 1 week or more it is free of charge. Vehicle in certain categories is not allowed to being taken abroad.
