Driving abroad Rental conditions International Terms & Conditions In most countries you must be at least 21 years of age. You will need to present a driving licence in your name, issued by your country of residence. Europcar require that a valid driving licence has been held for at least 1 year. An identification document, such as passport, and credit card are also required. Driving licence and passport will be requested to additional drivers. Only authorized drivers, who are detailed on the rental agreement may drive the car. When reserving your car, please be informed about more details. Completing your rental in a different town/airport may be permitted for a small fee depending on the country and Europcar location. When ordering please contact the Europcar station for further information. International driving permit Your driving licence (issued in Hungary) will be honoured in most countries e.g. European Union. Europcar recommends you carry an International Driving Permit, when your driving licence is in different languages or particularly in languages using different alphabet structures. Caution At the beginning of the rental caution must be paid by credit card, which is different at all categories. Caution paid in cash are limited within the Europcar network, where they are possible, it is only for the first smallest categories of vehicles. Pick-up of your rental vehicle Please check that the vehicle conditions written on the vehicle statement are correct and if an apparent defect not listed is noticed when examining the vehicle, please notify a Europcar employee. Before leaving Europcar station please check that the rented car is delivered with full tank of petrol. | ||
