Why do we offer the booking of travel insurance?
We do not really think of the actual financial expenses since the social security covers the Hungarian medical treatments in an almost full measure medical treatment into a claim the case of his purchase.

Apart from Hungary these expnses cannot be reimbursed at all, or partially and only beside certain displays.

If we reckon, that a single medical consultation carries at least 100 EUR costs with the hotel's doctor, and a single day's hospitalisation - depending on the residential country and the gravity of the treatment - would cost 800 up to 1700 EUR, a first class travel insurance is anyway recommended. The expenses of an insurance like this are not proportional to the financial burdens of a possible case of damage!

The expense of a home transportation with an ambulance jet becoming necessary as the consequence of a bad accident or sickness may jeopardize a family's living in certain cases. The expenses can vary from 15.000 and 30.000 EUR (Mediterranean concerned with it adjacent countries) even up to 120.000 EUR (America, Australia, Asia etc.) depending of the flight distance.

Please do not forget, that travel insurances offered to credit cards often do not provide 100% protection; therefore the control of the active insurance protection and the coverage sums is highly recommended! This concerns particularly passengers travelling together, mainly if there are accompanying minors.
